 S V GOVT POLYTECHNIC, TIRUPATHI

    Sri Venkateswara Government Polytechnic, Tirupathi, one of the premier technical institutions in Andhra Pradesh, was established in 1957. The total extent of land   is 29.54 acres. It is one of the oldest polytechnics in the state which imparts quality technical education to the students of Andhra Pradesh.

     The highly motivated teaching and non-teaching staff strive a lot in imparting quality technical education to the students.

• Laboratories

       Each branch has several well-established laboratories and also well-equipped workshop where students gain practical knowledge.

• A P Skill Development Centre

     The Centre imparts training to the students in Proge Cad, Solid Edge, Total Station, VM software  which enable students to become employable.

• National Cadet Corps (NCC)

     The N C C unit functions with an in take of 100 boy and girl cadets. It provides an opportunity for students to get B and C certificates by enrolling themselves as cadets.

• National Service Scheme (NSS)

     The NSS unit with an intake of 100 volunteers provides an opportunity to  the students to participate in community development.

• Campus Placements

     Several reputed companies conduct placement drive in the campus wherein several students are placed in different positions. Isuzu Motors, Sri City conducted a placement drive in the campus in November, 2016.

• Hostel

     It has well established hostel for boys and girls.

• Sports and Games

    Students practice different sports and games in the sprawling playground  and thereby excel in the inter-polytechnic sports meet.

• Library

    The well stocked library on different titles and journals allows to students to borrow books on science and technology and thereby gain knowledge.
